Just as good as OEM, but MUCH less expensive

I had gone through 3 of the old style Macbook power adapters that have the cord coming straight out of the plug. The shielding on the cord always separated from the plug with use and eventually shorted. I wasn't about to spend another $80 on a power adapter, so I started looking at other options. I specifically wanted an adapter that had the L-shaped plug, since the cord is better protected near the plug.
I ordered this one on a Wednesday and it arrived Friday, despite the 1 week estimate on shipping time. It works just as well as the OEM power adapters. It charges the Macbook while the Macbook is being used.
I'm very happy with this adapter and while I hope that I don't need to buy yet another adapter, if I do Id buy another one of these. Either way, I'll never buy another Apple power adapter.

This Works Great For ME! I have gone threw 3 of the old oem chargers and this is just as good at a way, way, way... (several hours later) way better price. The way the oem ones are made is horrible. As result this is the only apple product I doubt trash but this charger is not apple and so is priced, as i said, way better. I have no doubt in my mind this one is going to brake soon, as do the original ones, but its not going to cost me $80 plus. If your original one broke get this one, the oem ones are going to brake anyway so why spend more. For those looking for something cost effective hears your product. unless you have about $85 i suggest you buy the apple charger that now comes in an "L" shape which is a great deal more durable and is less prone to bend and separate. But I did not have the money so I got this and I do not regret it one bit. It charges my computer just as well as my old apple charger and I love how fat my wallet stayed. Let me put it this way "The old apple chargers put your wallet on a diet, and this charger lets the wallet be who it wants to be, and mine wants to be fat." Did I get my point across? yeah, buy this one. If its bad review it, but just try it, Its only 20 bucks guys... just use it until you get enough for the "L" shape one, thats what I'm doing.
New 60 watt macbook charger

Ok. The price was good, I thought I was buying an OEM replacement with Mag plug that was mounted sideways as pictured, However it was not so. The charger was a knock off, the quality seems just as good as the original charger but it is made by someone else. It works and it was cheap I just hope that the cord cover does not separate as fast as my original apple charger did.

We have two Macbooks, a 13" Unibody from April 2009 and a 13" Macbook Pro from November 2009. It will charge the April 2009 Macbook, but not the 13" Macbook Pro (with that one, as the other review says, it will maintain it but it won't charge). It has a blue LED that is always on when plugged in. The cord is shorter than the usual Macbook charger as well. The L-shaped connector does stay in better than the standard Macbook Magsafe. I ordered one from Sunvalleytek (which I believe makes them) and one from GW Enterprise; the latter is a different charger that has a standard Magsafe, not the L-shaped one. Caveat emptor, I got lucky that it worked fine with one of our computers.
Don't Buy It!

It only puts out enough charge to run my MacBook laptop, not enough to recharge it. When you connect it, your laptop says "not charging", though it is providing some current. Perhaps I was unlucky and got a lemon, but read the reviews for the 85w power adapter for Macs from the same supplier, Sunvalleytek: similar problems are reported by more than one reviewer. I think this product should be withdrawn.
