The product is what it is advertised to be. I purchased the charger to have an extra power supple that I could just leave in my home office and another in my travel bag for when I was on the road. Well worth buying, an excellent value (85W at the price of a 65W)!

The product failed to work the second time I used it. I returned it, and received a replacement in about a week. This was a significant delay, since I could not use my MacBook until I had a charger for it. My messages left on the automated trouble ticket system were ignored, but emails were answered quickly and efficiently. The replacement product worked perfectly, and is still working 10 days later.
Pros: lower price than Apple, will send the product by USPS, which doesn't require a signature, unlike Apple, replaced the defective product, although at a rather leisurely pace.
Cons: one out of two of this product didn't work.
I would do business with this company again. Everyone is entitled to an occasional mistake, especially when they are willing to make it good, which this company did.
Advice: don't try to communicate with the company with the automated trouble ticket system. They just ignore it. Use email.

My original 85W MagSafe adapter failed on me after about three years. This one looks exactly the same from a distance, it just lacks the Apple logo when you look at it closely. I've had it for a couple of months now and it works just fine so far.
One slightly different thing about it is that the little light at the end that plugs into your computer stays on when you unplug it from the computer. I'll gladly accept these minor differences for the lower price.

Just wanted to let future purchasers know that this is NOT a genuine Apple MacBook Pro plug, even though that is what the photograph shows. It is a generic replacement plug. I was highly disappointed when I found that my purchase was not what had been pictured in the ad and that I could have purchased the same item for less elsewhere.
