I'm very happy with my kindle skin. It took me about 5-10 minutes to place even with me being very specific about centered-ness. I put the back on first since it only had the one piece. I set the skin on the kindle and it stuck sort of like plastic wrap until I placed it exactly and pressed down. It was easy to pick back up and shift. I made two tiny slits at the power button protrusion to make it lay flat (about a mm long). When removing the large skin portion from its shipping sheet I had to poke out two of the letter key cutouts, otherwise I was very impressed with how easy it was to remove from the sheet. The labels on the Home and Back keys, etc., aren't exact, but you can't see the original words through the skin. The skin is thicker than I thought it would be (think of a piece of tin foil folded in half) and is slightly stretchy. I pressed the skin on from the center out and very easily pushed out the one or two bubbles I ended up with. The skin is not sticky but feels slightly rubbery and is very easy to hold.

I love this new decal. It makes my Kindle beautiful and unique. It really was simple to put on (Really!) and I had no problems placing the pieces (back and front) to get a smooth look with no bubbles or wrinkles. It is removable (I repositioned it a bit as I was putting it on to get it exactly right), and I might be inclined to buy another one someday just for a change in design. It will protect from fingerprints and smudges and such, but isn't designed to protect from drops. I use it with the Kindle cover, not as a replacement. It also makes holding the Kindle without the cover a little nicer. Without the decal, the back of the Kindle felt a bit slippery to hold on to, but with the decal I am more secure in not using the cover all the time when reading. I like this product as a dress up accessory and would recommend it to others for that purpose.

This design is unique and really makes my kindle stand out from everyone else's. I love how it comes in different models so you can use the same design to pimp out everything else you may own -- laptop, iphone, etc.
The quality is awesome. The decal is a thick material and resilient to slight dings. Also, the stickiness is not overpowering so you can remove and reapply if you can't get it on straight the first time -- this is important for me as I'm a perfectionist. Also, some people mentioned that it was difficult to flatten against the curved edges. This is not a problem, just apply slight pressure and smooth it over the edges.
The best part - is everyone is jealous of how cool my kindle looks. It's one thing to be cool because I have a kindle, it's another to be cool because my kindle's got flava!

I really like this product. It fits my Kindle 2 perfectly and was VERY easy to put on. It makes the device look nice and helps prevent some of the everyday wear and tear. I am going to get on for my laptop next!

What an inexpensive and easy way to personalize your Kindle 2! I absolutely love it! Thought it might be difficult to line it up and place it correctly on the Kindle - wrong! It was simple. The most difficult part was the little buttons (menu, etc.) but this material allows you to take it back off and try again without any problems.
LOVE IT! My Kindle is so pretty - just want to show it off to everyone!
