I use it for my home theater system (tv, speakers, ps3, dvd) and it works fine. It is wall-mountable, which is what I did. Cable management clip is helpful when it is on the wall.

Overall great product because it has a great design and value for the price (I paid $20 when it was on sale).

Brought two of these for protection against thunderstorm damage. I liked the warranty that came with it. Great value...so far no thunderstorms to test warranty. I mostly use it to protect tv's.

Our electric power goes off at least once a month, so protection in the sewing room is important. This was only one of a few that had a cord longer than two feet. Next time the electricity goes off will be the true test.

Other reviewers have correctly pointed out that this does not give you Ethernet protection: It gives you coaxial cable and telephone protection. Having said that, I don't see why you would need Ethernet protection if you have cable and telephone protection; surely your Ethernet cable is going to be connected to a cable modem or a phone/DSL modem? So I'm not going to penalize this excellent surge protector for false advertising.

As you can see in the picture, the spacing on this surge protector gives your plugs the space they need. And its 12' cord should be more than enough for any ordinary room. It's also a nice-looking device, with an easy-to-find power switch. It doesn't do anything extraordinary, but I'd say that this is a good deal.
